Caitlin Robinson is an Senior Academic Fellow and Senior Proleptic Lecturer at the University of Bristol. Caitlin is a quantitative human geographer whose previous research has focused on understanding the causes and consequences of different forms of spatial inequality, especially related to energy and infrastructure. She is a Fellow of The Alan Turing Institute and co-lead of Bristol's Quantitative Spatial Science Research Group.
Lenka Hasova is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bristol, where she recently completed her PhD in Human Geography as part of the Quantitative Spatial Science Research Group. Lenka researches and teaches widely across Geographic Data Science techniques. Her PhD research focuses on concepts and applications of spatial interaction models as networks.
Lin Zhang was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bristol on MAV, before moving to The University of Manchester in February 2025. Lin is interested in energy geographies and applying quantitative and qualitative techniques to understand the social and spatial distribution of energy poverty. Lin completed her PhD at the University of Leeds exploring energy poverty in the context of China.
National Energy Action (NEA) is the national fuel poverty charity that campaigns so everyone can afford to live in a warm and safe home. Working across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, their research aims to improve the lives of people in fuel poverty. NEA directly support people with energy and income maximisation advice and advocate on issues including improving the energy efficiency of homes. NEA are directly supporting the project team to ensure that the findings are embedded within policy and practice.
We have a range of project partners who are shaping the research, from a diverse range of sectors. If you would like to find out more or get involved, please get in touch with the team.
This project is funded by a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship (Grant reference: MR/V021672/2).
