Analysing Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Vulnerability, we have created three indices of IAQ related to outdoor environment, structural properties of indoor environments and human characteristics and behaviour in indoor spaces. We have combined the indices using hierarchical clustering into a single neighbourhood-level classification of England and Wales that showcases indoor air quality vulnerability dynamics. We utilised the latest open-source data including the 2021 Census and Energy Performance Certificates.
